26/09/2015 Northern Railways Asaoti station will be disturb for 4 days due to Rail Line construction
Northern Railway will undertake the Non-Interlocking working at Asaoti station from 07/08.10.2015 to 11.10.2015 in connection with construction of a Fourth Line between Tughlakabad-Palwal. The construction of this Fourth Line is primarily aimed to ease bottlenecks for rail traffic flow and involves up-gradation of traffic facilities to enable higher operational capabilities and flexibility. In this 4 dayes Asaoti station will fully disturbed due to rail line construction work.

For erection of portal boom, Power & Traffic Block on all lines, for 01 hour 15 minutes from 11.50 hrs. to 13.05 hrs. will be necessary between Baktarnagar Station and Andal East outer Cabin on 27.09.2015(Sunday).

25/09/2015 IRCTC is now providing passengers meal facility by Jan Ahaar stalls
Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) is now providing station based e-catering facility that will allow the passengers to order food of their choice from private caterers. Now The facility is going to be introduced in phases at 45 railway stations in the country, which also includes Pune. The service, however will be available only at the stations and not moving trains.

21/09/2015 Indian Railway added 13 new trains to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, Katra, One Delhi-Amritsar-Katra A.C. Special
To cater to the huge volume of pilgrims seeking to visit the holy shrine of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi, the Railway has extended the services of 13 pairs of trains from various destinations to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra station. In addition, Northern Railway has decided to run Day-time AC Special from New Delhi to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra(single trip) and another AC Special service with 31 trips from Amritsar to Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra.
